Iconoclast -- New Aurora -- Phoneix Tower

The New Aurora, Inc. Building, dubbed the "Phoenix Tower," was the first building of its kind in the entire world. It was designed entirely by a Matrix driven algorithm after being given a set of "guidelines." The plan was then programmed into a series of nanotech robots, and constructed in just over two years without any human intervention. Some whisper that the building is actually an AI itself, though this is not likely.

Because the building was built inside a dome, it did not need to be concerned with weather, wind, snow, insects, etc., and so the design that the program came up with is a bit "unusual." At the base, a Phoenix-shaped building of between twenty and twenty-five stories houses all the offices accessible to the public. From within the center of this base, one tower rises which then splits into three separate triangular towers, each of which narrows, splits off, then widens again near the top and rejoins its "comrades. This creates a "bow-shaped" effect which makes some fear the tower's imminent collapse. It has stood for over 50 years with no signs of deterioration or swaying.

After the 90th floor, the three separate towers rejoin and form one central tower, which is actually built over the empty shaft created by the three separate towers. Here, the executive offices are kept, along with a hanging garden and more. At the top, a spire and antennae add to the building's overall height, making it approximately 100 feet taller than the Sears Tower. This is to say nothing of the portions of the building built underground.

The entire building is constructed of durasteel, wrapped in sheets of bronze and crystalline glass and decked out with marble and other expensive materials. The nanotech bots were able to create a seamless appearance, from base to spire. Because it was built by nanotech robots, and is continually updated and maintained by the same, the building is not only in perfect shape, but can actually evolve itself over time to meet the needs of those who work inside of it.
