The kukri has been made famous throughout the world by Nepal's ferocious
Ghurka mercenaries, and with good reason. It takes over 3 lbs of steel to
make this foot long weapon, which has been heat-treated to insure maximum
strength, toughness and edge retention. The curvature of the blade shifts
the balance point forward, and since the knife is wider at the point than at
the base and shaped so that the edge is always presented at an angle, the
kukri can out-cut machetes and swords twice its size. The rubberized handle
ensures a non-slip grip, no matter what gets on the weapon.

A knife design blending both piercing and cutting properties, the tanto
originated in fuedal Japan. Little improvement has been made to the basic
blade design over the centuries, though the materials have changed from
hand- forged metal to machined carbon steel. A rubberized handle provides
excellent grip and control over the squared tip and serrated edge.

The latest in a long series of combat bayonets, the M67 is a vicious
stabbing weapon and multipurpose tool. Designed to mount below the barrel of
Americorp military long guns, the bayonet breaks from traditional American
designs. The blade is mounted level with the plane of the rifle instead of
fixing perpendicular to it, allowing the tip to more easily penetrate the
ribcage. Diamond-etched shark-tooth barbs run along the edge of the blade,
and rubber nubs cover the handle for a solid hold.

This short knife, designed for concealment, tucks into a small sheath and
can be hidden away in a number of places beneath clothing or especially the
top of a boot as the name suggests. The stubby blade has a symetrical
rounded triangle-shaped blade made for stabbing. Largely illegal, a boot
knife is practically mandatory for mercenaries, truck drivers, gang members,
and other rough roads in life.

This cheap spring-action stilletto is indellibly marked into the popular
image of street crime, and though these were more popular among 20th century
street gangs, today's punks still carry them for the intimidation factor. A
small switch on the hilt of this knife pushes a four inch blade up from the
silver handle.

This long blade is nearly a foot in length, optimal for slashing and
chopping. The slow curve of the edge is similar to a machete, but cuts into
an angled hasp just above the guard and has a sharpened tip.

The wavy blade of this weapon gives the dagger a primitive look, augmented
by the figurine-carved handle. Seemingly taken out of a primitive ritual and
brought into modern times, the kriss dagger still has a lethal point.
