The polyaluminum material of this superb sabre is a derivative of aluminum,
titanium, and various other metals, forming a blade with low weight yet high
durability. A nanotech refining process hones a maximally keened edge and
ultra fine point which the advanced metal can retain, giving the weapon
unparalleled slashing and piercing properties. Superior craftsmanship makes
this elegant sword a true work of art as well as an exceptional weapon.

The shorter of two traditional combat blades used in medieval Japanese
warfare, the wakizashi is paired with the katana as the defensive or
parrying sword. This role does not hinder the weapon's deadliness, however,
as the blade is essentially the same design as the razor sharp katana except
not as long. Both blades use a cutting, not chopping technique, and in
trained hands can sever limbs or heads in a single stroke.

With a slender, straight blade and a flat square tsuba (hand guard), the
ninja-to speaks of the mysteries of the Japanese ninja spy families who once
used them. The whole sword is black, except for the bare metal of the edge
and the sinal sharpening decoration along side it. While it is not true that
all ninjas used these swords, a great many of them were forced to forge
their own weapons from iron bars; since it is far easier to forge a straight
blade, the ninja-to was often the result. Modern swords are made from
stainless steel, loosely following the traditional design as a basis.

This ceremonial sabre follows the age-old tradition of military sword wear
dating back to the Roman Legions and beyond, symbolic of leadership and of
military might. Forged from fine grade durasteel and plated in gold with
silver etching, the Auroran Military Forces Officer's sword is worn with the
Military Dress Uniform by the commissioned ranks. The sword is mandatory for
Lieutenants and above, but must be purchased out of the officer's own pay as
a reminder that commissioning's priviledges and authority are tied with
personal obligation to the service.
While certainly intended for ceremonial use only, this sword is still made
sharp and strong as a wartime blade.

century when they began to appear as novelty items brought back from Central
Asia, the sword cane is still just as deadly a weapon as it was then. Sold
today largely as a reproduction decorator item, the sword cane is often
found for sale in flea markets or pawn shops.
